Description
ONE SONG BOTANICAL INCENSE – Written and created by Carmen from Lulanimoon
Walking in respect with the Spirit of the land and in acknowledgment with the Traditional Owners of this beautiful country.
ONE SONG BOTANICAL INCENSE has been crafted with a deep reverence for these lands in which we live, create and connect upon.
Australian Native botanicals are hand blended forming an aromatic clay sweetened with local honey.
During the process of experiencing One Song, a connection is made to the natural aromatics found within the Australian landscape.
Pure plants as close to their natural form as possible to honour their stories and history.
Every culture has a connection to smoke medicine, and it is through the root of true incense, stillness has a opportunity to be present within us.
When we are present we can access a sense of connection.
Through connection, we can learn to love and respect the natural world.
If we build this relationship with the land, it ignites something within us to want to take care of it and to protect it for future generations.
The Traditional Owners of this land, share a beautiful and deeply important connection to country. May we be allies, in hands and hearts and continue to listen, so that we can walk forward together as ONE SONG.
EACH BOX CONTAINS

‘Grounded Healing’
It’s story is:
“Coolamons have been used for generations to gather ingredients, for smoking ceremonies and for cradling babies. These have the symbol for a person in them as they are always used with people doing some of the most important things. The background is chosen to represent the earth and the connection we all have to it and coolamons are often used on the ground. The Bush berries are represented in yellow representing the ingredients being gathered and used often in ceremonies. I have such a deep love for Coolamons they are so special and give such a full connection to the community around us.”
How to burn
Are you wondering how to burn One Song incense sticks , in order to smudge or simply enjoy its aroma? You don’t have to burn the whole stick, you can cut small pieces off, depending on your use. Hold a piece of One Song slightly upside down and light the tip until there is a small flame. After a few seconds, blow out the flame, so only smoke is produced. Place it on an angle embers-down in a fireproof bowl in a way that will allow it to continue burning and gently blow on the embers when needed. This is called smudging. It may need to be re-lit several times so it will continue to release its natural plant extracts and energetic properties. Some prefer to keep small rocks in a fireproof bowl, (see our hand made bowls) and then put the embers into the rock bed in order to put it out when finished. The stick can be reused several times until it is all gone. The aroma is natural and harmoniously strong.
